When I unexpectedly needed to care for my brother from suffering a stroke, the manual hospital bed provided by his insurance was unacceptable. I search everywhere from Craigslist, to eBay, and ever Medical Equipment provider for a electric hospital bed at a reasonable price. I was lucky to land on Goodmedical and found a Hill Rom P1900 with an air mattress for under $1K. That was 2019. Not only was it a great bed, but the service Oscar and his team at GM provided was spectacular. Fast forward. When the bed stopped working in 2022, I reached out to Hill Rom to repair it. They wanted to charge $2.5K to fix one value. I had to plead with them to provide me a quote, and after 3 months finally received one and it was ridiculous.
Goodmedical to the rescue. First time I found GM it was on eBay, however when I reach out this way, eBay blocked my contact info. I found Goodmedical’s website, and Oscar’s name.on my invoice. I reached out via their contact page and next day, Oscar was arranging to send one of his techs from Brownsville to Houston to help me. I also learned he had a new shipment of Hill Rom P3200s. Oscar worked with me, took trade in of my old bed, and replaced my bed with a newer model and more features at less than one third the cost Hill Rom wanted to charge to repair. He shipped it and set it up two days later…. I bought another bed for a friend who was recovering from a stroke as well. Goodmedical is my first go to for anything I need. Before shopping elsewhere, these are the people I turn to. They are honest, caring, and they do not try to gouge you when you need help the most. I cannot say enough good things about them. And to be clear, I did not know them or anyone from the business before trying them. This is the way all businesses should treat their customers.
